For M Park Bytom II, owned by SA Shelton, we conducted risk analyses concerning business transformation and social changes caused by climate change, in line with the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) guidelines.

Risk & Opportunity Assessment:

Identifying risks and opportunities related to climate change allows for better preparation of the building and its surroundings for market shifts. New technological, legal, and social requirements may lead to higher investment costs but can also result in positive changes, such as reduced energy and water consumption, lower waste production, or improved public perception of the building.

Specific indicators have been established for the property and will be monitored. In terms of transition risks, the assessment focuses on energy consumption, water usage, waste management, and the utilization of green spaces.

Regarding social risks, the property was evaluated for exposure to various social threats. For each identified risk, examples of real actions contributing positively to the local community were selected. The assessment was conducted using data confirming the presence and intensity of social threats in the vicinity. It is based on diverse studies carried out by public and private institutions at different levels—local, district, citywide, and nationwide.
